Miomio's Unforgettable Dacquoise: A Four-Flavor Review 🍪
Miomio's Unforgettable Dacquoise: A Four-Flavor Review 🍪 The dessert shop Miomio, opened by Chef Hirohisa from New York’s Japanese restaurant Rice One, has been on my wishlist for so long! 🌟 🌷 For Mother’s Day, they released a limited-edition Dacquoise with four combined flavors. As soon as I saw the post on Instagram, I placed my order right away! The Dacquoise cookie layers are already incredibly sweet and delicious. The texture is somewhere between meringue and sponge cake. The outer layer is a bit crispy, yet flaky and airy ❤️ The buttercream is its soul! It doesn’t melt in your mouth instantly. Instead, as you savor it slowly, it blends with the cookie and becomes more and more fragrant with each bite ☺️ 🌸 Cherry Blossom: It looks like scallion cream cheese, but it’s actually salted cherry blossom-flavored. It’s slightly sweet with a hint of saltiness. All cherry blossom-flavored desserts and drinks are intriguing at first, but after a few bites, your brain and stomach might start to wonder. 🌸 🍓 Strawberry: The only heart-shaped one 💕 It has a subtle, fresh fragrance, not an overly sweet fruit flavor. 🍓 #DacquoiseLove 🌺 #NYCDesserts 🌆
