🥙 Miss Ada | Brooklyn's Hidden Gem Middle Eastern Brunch
This Middle Eastern fusion restaurant tucked away in Fort Greene is absolutely stunning~ We arrived right at 11 AM on Sunday when they opened, and there was already a long line forming outside! 😮 The portions here are not huge, but the flavors are delicate and refined. There were four of us, and here’s what we ordered: 🍕 Malawach Pizza The base is made of malawach, similar to flaky layered pastry—crispy on the outside with a slight chewiness inside. Topped with a runny egg, tahini, and tomato sauce, the flavors blend together perfectly~ 🥚🍅 🥩 Lamb Shawarma The lamb had no gamey taste at all and was marinated with aromatic spices. It felt light and not greasy. Served with pita bread to wrap everything up—so satisfying! 🌯 🍠 Sweet Potato Hummus I’ve tried hummus at many places, but adding roasted sweet potato made it incredibly sweet, creamy, and addictive~ 😋 🌶 Muhammara A red pepper and walnut dip with vibrant color. It tasted like a mix of tomato sauce and nuts—slightly sweet with a hint of spiciness. Rich but not heavy! 🍳 Shakshuka A classic tomato and egg stew with deep, layered flavors. It was hearty and comforting, though not particularly unique. 🍫 Chocolate Babka Dessert here definitely stands out! Paired with whipped cream, it was rich but not overwhelming. 🍃 The weather was lovely that day, so we sat at the outdoor patio. The servers were warm and attentive, and the pace was relaxed—perfect for a long, chatty weekend brunch! ☀️💬 📍 184 DeKalb Ave, Brooklyn, NY 11205 Have you been to Miss Ada or tried other Middle Eastern brunch spots in Brooklyn?
