Missed Three Times Before I Got a Slice! (1)🍕
🌧️I’ve been trying to get my hands on a pizza from Ceres Pizza for ages! The first few times I visited, they were either sold out or had a waiting time of two to three hours. I just couldn’t catch a break! 🥺 Today, it was raining, and I thought I’d give it another shot. To my surprise, the wait was only 20 minutes! Of course, I immediately placed my order and found a seat. 🌧️ Ceres is run by two chefs who previously worked at the Michelin-starred Eleven Madison Park. They’ve taken the high-end pizza route, and it shows. 🌧️From the dough to the toppings, everything is meticulously crafted. The crust is thin yet chewy, with distinct layers of flavor. No wonder renowned food critic Dave Portnoy gave it a 9.2! It’s no surprise that the place is always packed. 🌟 ✨ The menu is simple, with only five types of pizzas. Most people go for the cheese or tomato. 🌧️The Nduja isn’t available every day, but I was lucky enough to get it today. The staff mentioned that they only make 30 pies a day, so of course, I had to order it! 🥹 A whole pie costs $74.04, which is probably the most expensive pizza I’ve ever had. 🍕 #Ceres
