Mission Ceviche | Tasty Peruvian Seafood in NYC 🦐🍚

After trying Peruvian food in Miami and D.C., I was excited to visit Mission Ceviche in Union Square. The place was packed on a Friday night (mostly locals), so reservations are a good idea! 🦐 Seafood Mixto Ceviche – Tangy, bright, and refreshing. Loved the fried shrimp — crispy and flavorful. Octopus and shrimp were also tender. 🥔 Causa de Cangrejo – Shredded purple potato topped with crab and avocado. Subtly spiced, beautifully plated, though a bit light on flavor for the price. 🍚 Arroz con Mariscos (Seafood Rice) – Rich, cheesy, and perfectly moist. Packed with shrimp, fish, and squid. A bit salty but very satisfying. 🥩 Seco Norteño (Braised Beef) – Tender 12-hour beef with creamy mashed potatoes. Simple but well-executed. 🥬 Crispy Brussels Sprouts – Deep-fried and deliciously crunchy — a safe, tasty side. 🍹 Pisco Sour & Pineapple Sour – Light, citrusy, and not too strong. Great pairing with the meal. Overall, solid Peruvian flavors — a bit salty by the end, but enjoyable. Next on my list: Pio Pio for more casual Peruvian eats! 📍 Mission Ceviche 7 E 17th St, New York, NY 10003 #MissionCeviche #PeruvianFoodNYC #NYCEats #CevicheLover #SeafoodRice #UnionSquareEats #FoodieGram #MustTryNYC #DateNight #CocktailHour #SouthAmericanFlavors #GoodVibes
