Mississauga's Quanjude Peking Duck - Is the 1.5-Hour Wait Worth It?
Recently tried the soft-opening of Quanjude in Mississauga—but had to queue for 90 minutes! Honestly, the initial experience was rough: one hostess had major attitude when we asked about wait times... and when we missed their call by one minute, they gave our table away. 😤 📍 QJD Peking Duck 888 Dundas St E Unit C3&C4, Mississauga ⏰ Daily: 9AM-9PM 🦆 The Food Verdict 👍 The Good: Peking Duck: Worth the hype! Crispy skin + fluffy pancakes = perfection. Soup Dumplings: Juicy, flavorful broth—must-order! Staff (except that one hostess): Friendly and attentive. 👎 The Meh: Beef Tripe & Mushrooms with Pea Shoots: Skip. Shrimp Rice Rolls & Tofu Skin Rolls: Just okay. 💸 Final Thoughts Duck = ⭐⭐⭐⭐✨ (but not sure if it’s worth the wait). Service = Rollercoaster (great servers, terrible hostess). Would I return? Maybe… but only if they fix their front-desk attitude. #TorontoEats #PekingDuck #MississaugaFoodie #Quanjude
