🍣 Modern Japanese in Las Vegas | WAKUDA 🌟
Just revisited Wakuda in Las Vegas — a restaurant by Michelin-starred Chef Tetsuya Wakuda (though the restaurant itself doesn’t hold a star). It’s located inside The Venetian Hotel. My last visit was during a conference — treated by a vendor — and it left a strong impression. The dishes were creative and delicious (though let’s be real — free food always tastes better 😉). This time, the vibe was still chic and modern, with a touch of Japanese elegance. The lighting, decor, and service were all top-notch ✨. The menu focuses on modern Japanese cuisine — some dishes truly shined, while others were just okay. Here’s what we tried: Kanpachi Carpaccio Crisp Rice Japanese A5 Wagyu Roll Sashimi Box Seabass Miso Duck on the Rocks 🍽 Highly Recommended: 🐟 Seabass Miso – Layers of flavor, tender fish — a must-try! 🦆 Duck on the Rocks – Shichimi-coated duck breast served on a hot stone — creative and tasty. 🐠 Kanpachi Carpaccio – Fresh, delicate, and refreshing — perfect starter. 🍱 Sashimi Box – A signature dish. Some fish were incredibly fresh (including rare varieties in the U.S.), though others were average. A bit of a mixed bag. 💵 Around $200 per person ✅ Overall, Wakuda remains a high-end Japanese spot worth returning to. If you’re in Vegas and craving modern Japanese or creative sushi — this is a solid pick! #WakudaLV #ModernJapanese #LasVegasEats #TheVenetian #SushiLovers #ChefTetsuyaWakuda
