Modesto Day Trip
Beautiful sunset and the KMOD tiger roll staff 📍The Fruit Yard 7948 Yosemite Blvd, Modesto, CA 95357 Ran into a friend by chance and ended up having lunch together. We went to a BBQ restaurant recommended by locals, with lots of chickens 🐓 at the entrance. Walking in felt like stepping into the Midwest! As one of the few Asian faces in the restaurant, I couldn't help but wonder, "Is this really California?" Originally, we planned to order BBQ, but somehow ended up with the $40/person buffet. I helped myself to two rounds of shrimp 🦐, so satisfying! When I saw the crab 🦀, I had no idea how to eat it gracefully. Afraid of making a mess, I reluctantly skipped it. But the roast beef 🥩 was incredibly tender and unexpectedly delicious! 🤤 ✨When you push open the wooden door, it feels like stepping into a Western movie—spacious log cabin structure, country music playing in the background, and vintage license plates and hunting decorations adorning the walls. The local gentleman at the next table enthusiastically shared his favorite hidden dish: roasted pumpkin drizzled with honey sauce. One bite, and it was a burst of sweetness and fragrance! 🥰If you ever visit Modesto, be sure to experience this rustic yet warm atmosphere. Remember to grab a seat by the window—at dusk, the setting sun paints the entire pasture in a honeyed glow, even casting a golden light on the grilled meat on your plate ✨ #Modesto#travelguideModestoguide#fooddiary#Modestofood#California
