Montmartre, Paris | Artistic Vibes at Full Blast!
The Market is Amazing for Shopping đš Montmartre is the best area to explore in Paris! đ Apart from famous spots like the SacrĂ©-CĆur Basilica and the Wall of Love, donât miss the local marketsâtheyâre full of surprises! đ Especially for those who "love home decor" or "are renovating," youâve got to check out the decorative paintings and handmade crafts! Location: Climb up to the back of the SacrĂ©-CĆur, follow the path to a platform where artists set up their stalls irregularly. đš Donât go too late, as the market closes earlyâgood stuff doesnât wait! Montmartre has a lot of pickpockets (I saw seven or eight myself), so itâs not very safe at night. If youâre waiting for sunset, it can be a bit risky for women.â ïž After browsing through the dazzling array of items, I fell in love with an auntie who does hand-painted miniatures, and I bought two watercolor paintingsâtheyâre both stunning!đ Because of limited space in my suitcase and the fear of damaging them during transit, I didnât dare buy too many, even though they were reasonably priced. It took me a while to make my choices, torn between so many lovely pieces. Chatting with her, I learned she loves painting and has been doing it for years. Her husband encourages her to sell her work at the market. Every piece is hand-painted, not mass-produced! I highly recommend the canvas onesâthe paper ones are more expensive but have a unique texture! Iâm not just being polite when I say sheâs a genius painter. The two paintings I bought, featuring a Parisian street scene and a green park bench, now hang on my wall.đ I love exploring markets while traveling, especially these original and vintage ones in Europe. Of course, it also tests your eye for quality. Sometimes you might end up with something "made in China" from Yiwu. My tip is to chat with the vendorsâif youâre a people person, itâll be easy! A few words can tell you a lot, because creativity canât be faked. I enjoy using travel souvenirs as home decorations, with a wall full of paintings that I change regularly. Framing them is simple, and itâs more meaningful than letting them gather dust in a corner. Every time I see them, they bring back those beautiful memories and lift my spirits!đ„ł #FrenchTravel #ParisianLife #EarlyRiserTravelDiary #NewYearTravelFirstStop #ReverseTravel #LifeLocationsToCollect #NicheDecorativePaintings #Travel #TravelWithInterests #ExploreTheMarketTogether
