Montreal, Canada | No. 13 Restaurant in Canada | šŸ˜‹šŸ’£ A Rollercoaster Ride for Your Taste Buds

MontrĆ©al Plaza, ranked Top 13 in Canada, is a bit quirky! The bold fusion of flavors means the dishes are either incredibly delightful or disastrously strange šŸ˜‚. The decor follows the same theme—elegant with a playful twist. Highly recommend everyone to come and satisfy their curiosity šŸ™ƒ. ā‰ļø Duck + Caviar Duck tartare with caviar, served with a dorayaki? This daring combination went beyond what my taste buds could comprehend—hard to judge! āœ… Asparagus Foam The first bite was stunning, like a cloud with a sweet and salty flavor, giving off a dessert vibe. But the asparagus mousse lacked the crispness and became a bit cloying. āŒ Chinatown Razor Clam Cold razor clams, but the seasoning was off. Adding peanuts and cilantro doesn’t automatically make it ā€œChineseā€ 😠. You could get a much better version of this dish in Chinatown! ā¤ļø Vol-au-Vent + Scallops After a few šŸ’£ bombshells, this puff pastry with scallops was especially delicious. The addition of poached egg whites made it hard to distinguish from the scallop meat—an amusing twist! āœ… Bourgots Miso A staple dish since the restaurant opened—grilled sea snails with miso and pickled radish. Interesting flavors! ā¤ļø Blood Pudding Waited an hour for this, and it was worth every minute. The blood pudding was incredibly smooth, with a texture just like pudding, paired with a runny egg, crispy skin, and wild greens—an explosion of flavor and texture! Service was good too; after complaining about the wait, they comped this dish. ā¤ļø Crispy Fruit A parfait with white chocolate and mulberry crisps, the red and white colors made for a light and airy dessert. No wonder it’s their signature sweet! ā¤ļø Recommendation Rating: āļøāļøāļøāœØ Ranked No. 13 on Canada’s 100 Best for 2024; a must-try on Eater Montreal’s Top 38 list. šŸ”Ŗ Average $100+ per person (before tax/tip, in CAD) ā¤ļø Must-Eat! āœ… Delicious ā•ļø Okay āŒ Skip ā‰ļø Worth Trying #Foodie #Montreal #FoodAdventure #MontrealEats #MontrealLife #MontrealFoodie #mtlfood #Montreal #mtl #MontrealFood #CanadaEats #CanadaTravel #FoodAdventures ### Name: MontrĆ©al Plaza Address: MontrĆ©al Plaza, MontrĆ©al QC, Canada Type: Restaurant ###
