Moon Rabbit – An Elegant Vietnamese Dining Experience in DC! 🐇🌙

📍 Address: 927 F St NW, Washington, DC 20004 This is the first time I’ve had Vietnamese cuisine presented with such refined yet unpretentious elegance! ✨ 🏮 Ambiance: A beautiful blend of modern and Eastern elements, with soft lighting—perfect for a romantic date or a special night out! 💖 (Subjective reviews below! 👇) 🥯 Cassava Corn Bread: A bit sweet, texture not too dense. 🍃 Summer Roll: Crisp and refreshing, served with a sunflower seed seafood dipping sauce—unique and tasty! 🍆 Charred Eggplant: Miso and tamarind glaze—sweet and tangy in perfect balance. 🦀 Bún Riêu: Rich tomato broth with crab roe and crab meat—so flavorful! 🐟 Red Snapper: Reminded me of Chinese grilled fish! Lightly numbing from Sichuan pepper, crispy outside and tender inside. Served with plantains and cracked wheat—unexpectedly harmonious. 🍃 Stuffed Leaf: So good! Wagyu beef wrapped in perilla leaf—aromatic and satisfying in every bite. 🥧 Pâté Chaud: “Rabbit Wellington” with braised rabbit and black truffle. The pastry is incredibly flaky! 🐥 Fried Quail & Tomato Rice: The quail was fine, but the star was the crispy tomato rice with citrus mustard—vibrant and bold! 🧋 Trà Sữa “Milk Tea”: Not bad, but nothing special. 🍐 The Life of A Showgirl: Asian pear, jasmine, and lemongrass soda—light and refreshing! 🥭 Durian Dessert: Durian mousse with passion fruit sorbet and white chocolate crumble—sweet but not overwhelming. The sorbet balances it perfectly! 📌 Final Thoughts (Very subjective!): Flavors are creative yet respectful to Vietnamese roots. Dishes are served in thoughtful courses—cold and hot sets. 💡 Tip: A 20% service charge is automatically added. Reservations are a must during peak hours! 🎯 What I’d order again: Summer roll, stuffed wagyu leaf, durian dessert, and the Showgirl drink! Have you been to Moon Rabbit?
