Mott 32 | The Ultimate Peking Duck in North America
I’ve tried great Peking duck across the U.S., but the undisputed best is at Mott 32 in Vegas (inside The Venetian). You absolutely must reserve ahead!!! I booked a week in advance – Friday night was already sold out for duck, so we moved to Saturday. The restaurant wasn’t too crowded, and surprisingly, there were more international guests than expected. We went all out – two people, almost cleared every plate: 🦆 Peking Duck – Only available as a whole duck. The chef carves it tableside – instantly felt like being back in China! The duck was rich but not greasy, skin perfectly crispy. My friend asked for a whole duck leg to gnaw on – highly recommend trying that! We finished the entire duck between us. 🐟 Poached Fish Slices – Forgot to take a photo 😅 Not the Sichuan spicy style – instead, a delicate, flavorful fish broth. Perfect with a bowl of rice. (You can ask for less spice if preferred.) 🦀 Typhoon Shelter Crab – The priciest dish, even more expensive than the duck (~$150). Memory fail: I remembered loving it 2–3 years ago, but this time it was just okay – not deeply flavorful. Total for two after tip: around $400. Would be more cost-effective with a larger group… but then you can’t devour a whole duck like we did 😂 Remember: book the duck in advance! (And honestly – even the duck I had yesterday in Tianjin didn’t beat this!) #LasVegasEats #Mott32 #PekingDuck #VegasFood #TheVenetian
