The beauty of Eastern Izu needs a detox! 🍃 Following our last trip to Central Izu, this time we set off from Shuzenji by bus to Eastern Izu, specifically the famous Mount Ōmuro, which is said to be a filming location for the anime "Your Name." I'm not sure if it's true, but this matcha-green mountain is truly beautiful! 🍵 You can combine a visit to the Cactus Zoo and Kiritanzawa Coast in one trip. 🌅🌿 I used public transportation the whole way and checked the schedules in advance, so everything went smoothly. If you don't plan ahead, you might end up waiting at the station and feeling frustrated—buses are infrequent and the intervals are long. But if you time it right, you'll have a fantastic time! 🎢 🌈 Mount Ōmuro With an elevation of 580 meters, it is one of the largest volcanoes in the Izu monogenetic volcano group.
