Moxy Hotel in Omaha 🏨✨

On a whim, I decided to visit Omaha—Penny’s hometown from The Big Bang Theory! 🎬🍻 While planning, I was surprised to learn it’s also Warren Buffett’s hometown! I chose the Moxy Hotel in the Old Market for its central location, great value, and Marriott Bonvoy points! 🧳📍 📍 The hotel is right in the heart of Old Market—step outside and you’re ready to explore! Nearby is the adorable Made in Omaha souvenir shop 🛍️, and the whimsical Passageway (just 5 mins away) is a green oasis perfect for photos 🌿📸. The riverfront is about a 15-minute walk. 🗝️ The room is compact but well-designed—similar to the Moxy near Disneyland Paris I stayed at before. The lobby totally won me over with its two cozy swings—so relaxing! Swinging as an adult felt like a weekend highlight 😄. There’s also a cute corn-shaped side table in the seating area—very Nebraska! 🌽❤️ 👛 At check-in, you get a free drink voucher (alcohol or coffee included!). The hotel also offers self-service luggage storage lockers—super convenient, no front desk interaction, and no tipping stress! 🎒✅ Omaha itself isn’t packed with attractions, but that’s part of its charm. The slow pace and lack of must-see spots made my trip incredibly relaxing.
