MTL | The Best Japanese Food in 2024 πŸ‡―πŸ‡΅

Firstly, I must clarify that this is not a sponsored post, and all the exploration was done at my own expense. βœ… This place is definitely a treasure trove of Japanese cuisine that I will visit regularly in the future ❀️ I absolutely love Japanese food and have tried various high-end, mid-range, and budget restaurants in Montreal and its surrounding areas – at least 30+ places. Everyone has different standards, but what I care about the most is the quality of the ingredients themselves; they must be fresh and free from any strange or off flavors. Many restaurants add a lot of sauces that cover up the natural taste of the food to cater to foreign tastes, such as cheese and excessive mayo. What impressed me the most here was the specialty salmon roll (Figure 5), which had a very refreshing texture. The salmon was fresh and fatty, making it perfect for summer. Next, I would recommend the Toro (Figure 2), which had a rich and layered taste with a slight char that added a smoky flavor without covering up the natural taste of the ingredients. It's no exaggeration to say that I finished a plate in two minutes and wanted to order another serving because it was so delicious. I also highly recommend the matcha cheesecake (Figure 6) from the dessert section. It's not too sweet or greasy and has a medium-thick texture similar to a brownie. The accompanying chocolate-doushi-like mystery god is amazing: it has chocolate ice cream inside and a doushi skin on the outside – a super clever combination, πŸ’― recommended ❀️ The Maki rolls are also fantastic, and none of the ones I ordered today were a disappointment. P.S.: The owner is very friendly and will make recommendations based on the customer's preferences, clearly a connoisseur of food ^_^ Overall, it's a tasteful and stylish restaurant that I really enjoy. Next time, I will continue to visit and try the Sashimi ❀️ #MontrealFood #MontrealExploration #MontrealFoodExploration #JapaneseCuisine #Canada #SouthShore #MontrealLife #MontrealEatDrinkPlay #MontrealSurrounding #MontrealSouthShore
