Museum at Eldridge Street ๐
This synagogue museum, built in 1887, is located in New York's Chinatown at 12 Eldridge Street. ๐๐ธ The first floor is an exhibition hall, mainly telling the story of the synagogue and the Jewish immigrants who built it. The second floor is the synagogue itself, with a ceiling that looks as beautiful as a blue starry sky. ๐๐ธThe synagogue was once damaged, and the windows you see now have been restored, giving it a charming blend of antiquity and modernity. It's incredibly beautiful and perfect for taking photos! You definitely won't regret visiting! Opening hours: Sunday - Thursday 10am - 5pm, closed on Saturday. ๐๐ธAdmission is free (Pay What You Wish) on Monday and Friday. ๐ท Taken with Sony a7r3, using a 1/8 black soft - focus filter. #NewYorkWeekendActivities #NewYorkMuseums
