Museum of Music and Forest πΏβ¨
Travel Tips: The museum is essentially a small park. Its biggest advantage is that you can capture Mount Fuji from almost anywhere, and there are designated spots perfect for both selfies and group photos with the iconic mountain in the background. πΏβ¨ The best time to visit is in the morning; after noon, the lighting is quite backlit, making it challenging to take good photos. They also have a mascot named γ΅γγ΄γ γ (Fujipyun), who is an adorable pink rabbit! π° πΏβ¨ β οΈ Personal Tip: Once inside, there's a shop next to a ballet rhinoceros π¦. Go upstairs to the second floor, where you'll find a balcony that offers an amazing spot for photos. πΈπ πΏβ¨ Other Highlights: The place itself is very pleasant to explore. They sell a variety of music boxes, and there's even a Hayao Miyazaki specialty store filled with merchandise related to his works. πΏβ¨ You can also enjoy sand art performances, piano recitals, and concerts featuring large, century-old musical instruments accompanied by soprano vocals. It's a perfect place to slow down and immerse yourself in a short musical experience. πΏβ¨ Each performance lasts about 15-20 minutes, and it's truly delightful. Right next to the museum is Lake Kawaguchi, with convenience stores and pastry shops across the way. πΏβ¨ You can cover most of the Fuji Mountain highlights in one place. Due to scheduling, I missed out on visiting the nearby art museums, which I deeply regret. Next time, I'll definitely allocate more time to fully enjoy this area. πΏβ¨ #JapanTravel πβ¨ #YamanakaLakeViewOfMountFuji π #Japan #YamanashiPrefecture
