Must-try cuisine: La Casa de Toño
🫔Definitely don't miss the opportunity to visit this place and try their specialties; highly recommend the signature Pozole (corn soup), which can be ordered with pork or chicken, but pork is the most classic and highly praised. When eating, don't forget to sprinkle on some oregano powder, lemon juice, and for those who like spicy food, add some chili sauce. There are five types of chili sauces to choose from, including the once world's hottest habanero pepper sauce (salsa habanera). For drinks, I personally really like Horchata (a beverage made from rice milk and cinnamon), which is my favorite and you might want to give it a try too. The prices are very affordable, with an average cost of about 150 pesos per person. The Pozole is amazing! I like the combination of regular meat and head, with a thick layer of collagen and very fragrant meat, it's just perfect🥹🥹 🫔 It seems to be a favorite among locals as well, and you might need to wait in line during meal times.A Mexican national brand with multiple chain stores in the city, one of which is open 24 hours. Basically, you'll need to wait in line after 12 o'clock. I love their Pozole (which is somewhat like a hotchpotch soup) and Flan (caramel pudding). Vegetable soup: Healthy and delicious, it's not just vegetables; you can add various kinds of meat. The taste is very light. 🫔Chicken wrap: So delicious that I want to take one away every time I visit, it's more like a chicken salad. 🌮Taco: You can DIY your own sauce, which I really like, and the corn chips are provided for free. #moments #internationaltravel #travel #food #travelguide #foodsharing #MexicoTravel #MexicanFood #MyFoodDiary
