Must-visit in Madrid: ๐Ÿ’œ Lavender Town

The best spot for photo-taking in summer has arrived. I've been visiting this place for two years in a row now, and it's truly a great spot for capturing pictures. It's recommended to go there on a morning in mid-July. If you go early, many flowers haven't bloomed yet, but if you go late, they might have been harvested. Mid-July is when everything is just right. ๐Ÿ’œTo avoid crowds and too much sun, we chose to depart from Madrid at 6:30 ๐Ÿ••, which is about an hour's journey. The first stop was the lavender fields. In fact, there are many fields along the way, just look for one that allows entry and start shooting! If you go early, there are very few people, and the entire lavender field is your backdrop! ๐Ÿ’œFor clothing, it's suggested to wear colors that contrast well with purple and green. White is always a safe choice, but this time we also unexpectedly found that black also looks great in photos. I recommend trying on a short skirt; the swirling hem as you spin around really adds to the atmosphere. When taking photos, you can lower the angle a bit to capture more lavender. ๐Ÿ’œAfter the lavender fields, you can stroll around the town. The town is also beautifully decorated, and the stalls usually set up completely after ten o'clock. You can first find a bar for breakfast; the locals are very warm and friendly. ๐Ÿ’œAt the stalls, you can buy some lavender sachets (1 euro), handmade soaps (4-5 euros), and fridge magnets (3-5 euros) to take back. You can try bargaining with the stall owners; if you buy in bulk, you'll generally get a small discount. It's not much, but it's very interesting and warm-hearted! The sachets I bought last year still smell good in my cabinet this year. ๐Ÿ’œWe also met a very nice old man. We were admiring how he was decorating his stall with lavender, and he noticed our appreciation. He cut a small bunch for each of us to enjoy, which really lifted our spirits! #Lavender #NaturalScenery #DayTrip #MadridLife #MadridFoodAndFun #MadridLavender #LavenderTown
