My #1 Vietnamese Spot in NYC — I’ve Been 3 Times! 🇻🇳

This place, Bánh Anh Em, is my top pick for Vietnamese food in the city! So sad they’re closed for Thanksgiving week—posting in their honor. 😢 🍜 Classic Pho – Always fresh, never leaves me feeling heavy or greasy. 🐚 Sò Điệp Sốt Trứng Muối – Scallops in salted egg sauce… amazing, but wish there were more! 🥢 Bánh Cuốn Hanoi – Soft rice rolls that I prefer over the DIY version (Bánh Ướt Chồng). Great for sharing. 🍲 Bún Sườn Chả Giò – A bright, tangy noodle bowl with grilled pork and spring rolls. Refreshing, though better for warmer days. 🍛 Cơm Tấm – Broken rice with grilled pork chop—hearty and satisfying. 🥖 Bánh Mì – Not your average sandwich! Tangy, spicy, and totally non-greasy, but huge—hard to finish alone. 📝 Tip: They don’t take reservations for groups under 5. Get there by 5:30 PM or join the waitlist online early—it fills up fast! (Check the last photo for the waitlist screenshot.) Can’t wait to go back! ✨ #BánhAnhEm #NYCVietnamese #VietnameseFoodNYC #NYCEats #NYCFood #Pho #NYCRestaurants #NYUDining #ColumbiaEats
