A little French date with my boyfriend 🌷 At a super atmospheric one-Michelin-starred restaurant 🌟 located inside the Plaza Athénée hotel. I absolutely adore the interior—it’s the epitome of luxury and opulence. Gilded ceilings + dazzling crystal chandeliers ✨ The service is the best I’ve ever experienced. Every waiter was incredibly warm and welcoming. The guy who introduced us to the wines had a charming smile and a British accent—I liked him even more 🍷 💸 Sure, it’s a bit pricey. But let’s be honest, isn’t this kind of meal all about the experience and ambiance? The flavors might not compare to Chinese cuisine, but for Western food, it’s one of the best I’ve had. Plus—you leave super full! The portions are generous (they kept bringing us extra dishes, haha), and they even gifted us a chocolate cake at the end (said it was for our celebration). 🍰 🍽 We ordered two starters: a tart and caviar. On a later visit, I found out their foie gras is also amazing… For the main course, I chose chicken, and my boyfriend went for fish. The sauces for each dish were perfectly balanced! 🥂 The wine was a huge plus! The champagne and red wine they recommended were fantastic, and not as expensive as I thought—€40 per glass.
