My Australian Adventure: Planting Macadamia Trees in Bundaberg! 🌱🌰
What a coincidence—on my first day in Bundaberg, I noticed these strange trees everywhere and had no idea what they were! Turns out, they’re macadamia trees! 🤯 Funny enough, Wikipedia says they’re also called "Australian nuts," "Australian walnuts," or even "Australian longans"—hilarious! 😂 Now, I got to experience planting macadamia saplings, setting up irrigation systems, and pruning branches for the first time! 🌿💦 Farm work is way harder than picking lychees—constantly bending down to adjust the irrigation pipes was exhausting! 🥵 But planting trees felt magical… until the fatigue kicked in. 😅 Luckily, it was time to harvest macadamia nuts! 🌰🤩 These things are crazy hard—can their shells cut through metal?! 😳 You need a hammer to crack them open (I tried scissors ✂️, but my hands suffered 😂). Unripe, unprocessed macadamias taste like raw peanuts—weird but fun! Harvest season is so much fun! 🎉 #Australia #Bundaberg#AustralianAdventures #FarmLife #MacadamiaMagic
