🍣 My Favourite Sushi Spot in Soho: Dozo, Soho

Overall Rating: 4.2/5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Recommendation: Nigiri and bento boxes Per Person: £20-60 Operating Hours: (Sun) 12:00-22:00 (Mon-Sat) 12:00-15:00 & 17:00-22:30 As a Japanese person, giving a high rating to a Japanese restaurant (especially sushi) means it is GOOD. 📝 What I Got: Eel and avocado hand roll: £8.20 Teriyaki chicken and tempura bento: £18.80 6pcs nigiri: £17.80 Cold soba noodles: £9.80 Asahi beer: £5.50 🏢 Ownership and Passion: I asked a waiter if this place is Japanese-owned, and he told me that it is actually Malaysian-owned, but the owner is very passionate about Japanese cuisine. 🍱 Cultural Respect and Accuracy: It makes me very happy when my culture's food is respected and accurately represented. The sushi here is amazing—fresh fish, perfect fish to rice ratio, and a wide selection. Yes, it's a bit pricey, but I truly think this place offers a very fair price considering it is such high-quality. Plus, cheap sushi in London can be extremely bad. 🍤 Quality of Dishes: On top of that, everything else I've tried here was excellent—from the tempura to the teriyaki chicken and the hand-rolls, etc. 🍶 Critiques: My only critique would be that the dipping sauce for the soba noodles was a bit too sweet, and that their Japanese beer is not draught (bottle). 💁 Service: Oh, they also had very good service every time I went! 🍙 Recommendation: Please try it out if you like Japanese food. 😊 #Japanesefood #sushi #Asianfood #londonrestaurants #londonlife #londonfoodguide #londonguide #soho
