My First Post Goes to the Restaurant I Ate at the Most in Vegas π½οΈ
This spot is TonTonKatsuya in the Southwest area. π· Regular Pork Katsu β around $20, their signature dish β one portion. The one I ordered most often β never disappoints, perfectly fried! Comes with free refills of rice and miso soup. The salad is also tasty, served with sesame dressing β fresh and light. π Kurobuta Pork Katsu β about $10 more than regular, slightly larger portion. Maybe Iβm just not refined enough, but it didnβt taste much different from the regular pork to me. Once I even finished a takeout order before realizing it was Kurobuta π π Katsu Chazuke β basically miso soup with pork cutlet over rice. Personally found it just okay β a bit salty for my taste. π‘ Kurobuta Fried Meatballs β SO GOOD! The meat was really fragrant β finally felt the Kurobuta was worth it. π€ Fried Scallops β also delicious, a must-order every time. Fried tender and juicy β highly recommend trying it on your first visit. π Fried Pumpkin β big disappointment π Tasteless and tough β not the sweet, soft pumpkin I imagined. π The restaurant is small but clean, service is average. Even for takeout, theyβre super generous with the salad β helps cut through the richness! #LasVegas #JapaneseTonkatsu π₯’β¨π
