My First Taste of Portuguese Cuisine in the West Village, New York 🌟
This was my first serious visit to a Portuguese restaurant. With a 4.7 rating on Yelp, I was sold and rushed right over! 🚀 🌸 Here’s what we ordered: 1⃣️ Pork Ribs 🐖: Super tender and flavorful—definitely worth a try! The texture is unique and delicious. 2⃣️ Grass-Fed Beef 🥩: My favorite dish! The meat isn’t soft but is incredibly aromatic. The more you chew, the more flavorful it gets. The sauce is the star! Paired with the complimentary roasted bread for dipping, it’s so good you won’t leave a drop. 3⃣️ Octopus Leg Salad 🦑: It looks a bit unusual, but the real star is the salad itself. We devoured it in seconds—it’s tangy and so delicious! 🌸 If you don’t like sour flavors, skip this one. The octopus legs were too soft for my taste, but maybe that’s their signature style. I prefer a bit more chew! 4⃣️ Roast Chicken (Reminiscent of Chinese Spicy Chicken) 🍗: It looks spicy, but it’s not at all. The meat is a bit dry, haha. Still, the Chinese spicy chicken is better! 😋 5⃣️ Braised Lamb Leg 🐑: If you have even the slightest aversion to the smell of lamb, avoid this. I couldn’t touch it—I almost couldn’t stand the smell. But our male friends said it was good. Summary: It was a great experience for trying something new. The pork ribs, grass-fed beef, and octopus legs are must-tries—they won’t disappoint! I’ll explore the other dishes on my next visit. 🍃 Address: 547 Hudson St, New York, NY 10014 #NewYork #NYCExploration #NYCDining 🌃🌟
