My Happy Food Adventures in San Francisco
I love San Francisco so much! The ups and downs, over the hills, and the vast ocean! The architectural style is also beautiful! (During a city walk, I stumbled upon a small theater performance related to homelessness, which gave me a lot to think about. I lay on the lawn and finished watching it, so this post is mainly about food recommendations, not discussing other topics 🫰) ⭐ Mensho Tokyo Absolutely delicious!!!! Heard it was once awarded a Michelin star. The price, ingredients, and taste are just right. I'm glad I ventured out to eat here, especially since I live nearby. (Although I arrived a few minutes before opening, I still waited about half an hour because the store is so small.) Eating only one flavor might get boring later, but because we shared and switched, we couldn't stop → Recommend Blaze for those who can handle spicy, I was thrilled when I saw the szechuan pepper! The wagyu was just okay, mainly because the wagyu was thin and not prominent. Ordering the basic white soup should be enough, and it's delicious too! The most surprising was the special dipping noodles, I want to eat them again just looking at the picture. ⭐ Wong Lee Bakery I went there after reading some recommendation posts and bought a lot of dim sum to take to HITW Coffee for a meal together! Mainly because it's very cheap and the auntie is very nice. I ordered the wrong thing and she helped me reorder, appreciate it! My favorite is the fried taro puff, thick and chewy. ⭐ HITW I came here because of the coconut cold brew, but if I could open a coconut at home, I wouldn't need to come here. However, it's a cute little shop, worth grabbing a cup if you're passing by. ⭐ Boudin SF The grandmaster of sourdough! Finally got to taste the San Francisco-style sourdough in San Francisco after my uncle has been buying it so many times back east! The sourness of the bread is just right, I like it better, but the clam chowder inside was not up to par. ⭐ Trader Joe's The cocoa juice that my uncle in the east can't drink, I found it in the west. It's slightly sweet, and you wouldn't know it's cacao fruit juice if I didn't say so, it's amazing. ⭐ Alfred Coffee Just around the corner from Powell St, I went there to grab a coffee while waiting for the bus, and it turned out to be unexpectedly good. Didn't make it to Alcatraz, and there are still many delicious foods I haven't tried. I hope to have the chance to eat them in the future. #SanFrancisco #SanFranciscoFood #SanFranciscoAdventure #SanFranciscoCityWalk #SanFranciscoCoffee #SanFranciscoFoodie
