My New York Farm Getaway 🌿

Finally got to cuddle bunnies, chicks, sheep, cows, horses, and piggies‼️ Spent the day at Old Windmill Farm holding a whole bunch of baby animals—my heart literally melted on the spot ☺️ 🐰🐥 Held tiny bunnies and newborn baby chicks 🐑 Cuddled little lambs 🐎🐮 Fed hay to ponies and water to calves 🐷🐄 Watched piglets slide down a tiny slide 🛝 and even tried milking a cow for the first time! As someone dealing with startup stress, this was the ultimate cortisol reset—all my anxiety vanished the second I stepped in. Our tour guides were actually the farm kids! They showed us how to gently hold the animals. Everything was so clean and peaceful, and the animals were incredibly calm and sweet. I used to have a pet rabbit, and let’s be real—they can be messy 😅 But this little one just sat softly in my hands, quiet and cozy. Instant therapy ❤️‍🩹 We also found a nest of newborn bunnies buried in the hay—so tiny and chirpy, I can’t even 🥹 No one rushed us during cuddle time. The young guides were super patient and kind. I only had 30 minutes with the animals since I had to run to class 😭 Didn’t want to leave at all… Really hope I can go back soon once things calm down 🥰 Oh! And their homemade lemonade is AMAZING. The big lawn is gorgeous too~ Highly recommend grabbing a drink and relaxing on a lounge chair under the sun. You need to book in advance—tours are $22 per person on their website. If you try booking last-minute for the next day, it might be tough. Check third-party platforms though—sometimes they still have spots! 📍Old Windmill Farm 262 Paradise Ln, Ronks, PA 17572 #ForestFarm #NYDayTrip #NYFarm #BunnyLove #NYLife #PAFarm #WeekendInNY #NYGetaway #NYNatureEscape
