Ostankino TV Tower (Останкинская телебашня) Highlights: The highest point in Moscow with a 360-degree city view 👀 Cost: Tickets are quite expensive—we paid 1,300 RUB per person 💸. Whether it's worth it depends on your interest in panoramic views and your budget. Skip it if you're not big on heights. Metro Station Pykhtino (Пыхтино) on Line 8A Features: A real airplane model hangs above the platform ✈️—a very photogenic spot! Drawback: It’s quite remote. We spent nearly 2 hours round-trip ⏳. Recommended only for aviation or metro enthusiasts with plenty of time. Otherwise, explore other beautiful metro stations in the city. Arbat Street (Арбат) Vibe: A famous pedestrian street with strong commercial energy, mostly souvenir shops 🎁 (we went on the first day). Don’t expect deep cultural immersion. Advantage: Lots of dining options with more affordable prices compared to restaurants near Red Square or the Kremlin 🍽️💰. A good choice for a casual meal and light shopping. We also visited the 19th-century-style restroom in GUM Department Store—purely out of curiosity 😂. It cost 200 RUB 💸 to enter. The interior has a retro vibe, but it’s essentially a paid toilet 🚽. Not worth it unless you really want to tick off a "quirky spot" or are desperate. Beyond historic architecture, Moscow also has many modern, skyscrapers with striking designs 🏙️ (as shown in other photos). The city’s skyline is quite layered, and the glow of glass-curtain buildings at night is especially beautiful 💡—worth noticing during a stroll. We didn’t have time to visit Moscow’s CBD, which is very modern with high-end malls and famous sky restaurants like the "White Rabbit" 🐰. Let me know if you need a visual suggestion for any of these! #RussiaTravel #MoscowDiaries #DreamDestination #RecordOfRomanticLife
