🌏 My Recs for South Asian Restaurants in London

I can now confirm that the South Asian food in London beats any other city... even NYC. This past week, my family and I explored the city and especially made an effort to check out several acclaimed South Asian restaurants. Here are my recs from my trip! πŸ›οΈ Dishoom Covent Garden Dishoom: This restaurant is FAMOUS in the South Asian community, and I imagine it's on many people's itineraries when they visit the UK. We went to the location in Covent Garden, but there are tons of others in the city as well. The restaurant is walk-in friendly! You will likely have to wait a bit, but I promise you'll get a spot if you arrive before 8 PM. πŸ‡±πŸ‡° Hoppers Hoppers: A Sri Lankan fusion restaurant, Hoppers is pretty unique. I wasn't 100% used to their flavors previously, so it was fun exploring Sri Lankan food through this restaurant. They have a coursed vegetarian and non-vegetarian menu that helps narrow down the restaurant favorites based on your dietary needs. 🌟 Trishna Trishna: My favorite meal on this trip was at Trishna! We tried an abundance of food, from aloo tikki, to fried crab, to chicken curry, kofta, and kulfi (and more lol)! The restaurant takes its inspiration for the menu from Southwest India, which is a region that incorporates seafood into their dishes. Trishna has 1 Michelin Star, so if you're looking for an elevated meal while in London, I recommend this place. #london #londonrestaurants #dishoom #hopperslondon #trishna
