My Secret Japanese BBQ Spot in BK That I’m Hesitant to Share 🥩😭

Okay, I’ll be honest — I’m really torn about sharing this place because it’s super tiny, with only four BBQ tables in the whole restaurant, and I’m worried I’ll never get a reservation again… 😅 But as a food blogger dedicated to my followers, here it is — Hiyake Yakiniku BBQ in Brooklyn. It’s truly amazing! 👍🏻✨ We ordered the Japanese Wagyu BBQ Set, which included thick-cut beef tongue served with fragrant sesame rice — exactly like what I had in Japan! So tender and flavorful. 😋 The A5 Wagyu was melt-in-your-mouth tender — just a sprinkle of salt 🧂 was enough to bring out its rich, buttery flavor. Pure satisfaction! 😌 They also serve American Wagyu, perfect wrapped in lettuce leaves 🥬 with their special BBQ sauce — so juicy and delicious. But the real showstopper was the Full Crab Course 🦀: 1️⃣ Uni with Crab Jelly — refreshing and umami-rich 2️⃣ Steamed Crab & Uni in Shell — elegant and incredibly fragrant 3️⃣ Tempura Crab Legs — crispy and light 4️⃣ Cheese Crab Legs — OMG, the cheese and crab combo was heavenly! 🧀✨ We also started with their Cherry Tomato Salad 🍅 — each tomato burst with sweet-tangy juice, a perfect appetizer. The cozy, authentic interior feels just like a small eatery in Japan 🇯🇵❤️. 📍 Address: 165 Bedford Ave, Brooklyn, NY 11211 ⚠️ Reservations are a MUST! While we were there, two walk-in groups were turned away — it’s that popular and intimate. #NYCFood #NYCEats #JapaneseBBQ #WagyuNYC #BrooklynEats #HiddenGemNYC #NYCRestaurants #FoodieNYC #NYCLife #Yakiniku #CrabLovers #NYCDining #FoodSecret #BrooklynFoodie
