My Stay Experience at Vegas MGM Grand + A Little Honest Feedback 🏨💬

As an interior designer who often selects furnishings for hotels, staying in different properties is just part of my job. That’s why I naturally pay attention to small details in space design and furniture pairings. MGM Grand doesn’t have a particularly standout color theme—maybe to create a more stable, business-like vibe. It’s not like Wynn, which has a strong style that leaves an impression as soon as you walk in. Interestingly, the soft furnishing style here is pretty similar to what I’ve selected for other Marriott properties—no wonder it felt so familiar. 🛋️ Gray-blue sofas + cream throw pillows, triangular patterned wall art, and understated accent walls. Overall, the space feels very restrained. Although the room is quite spacious, the bathroom is seriously huge—big enough to jog a couple laps inside! 🏃♀️🚪 ❌ The Not-So-Good: The hotel feels a bit dated and not very modern. Room service sometimes walks in without proper notice 🚪😳. Even worse, construction with electric drills starts every morning at 9 AM 🛠️—making it really hard to work in the room. There’s also no proper public workspace in the hotel. If you need to sit down and focus, your only option is the food court downstairs. ✅ The Good: Good value compared to other Vegas hotels, plus a large number of rooms. It’s less than 5 minutes from the airport ✈️, near a golf driving range and several Michelin restaurants—great for group trips. As a Marriott property, it’s points-friendly and suits conference-goers. 🧳👥 Have you stayed at MGM Grand? What was your experience—agree or disagree?
