Nakanoshima Museum of Art 🎨
Nakanoshima: Exhibitions, Dining, and Coffee☕️ 🌸🍃 Just after exiting the subway, I felt a little disappointed. The wind was strong, the sky was overcast, and it was a bit chilly. 🌇🌿 The scenery seemed like I had accidentally wandered into Suzhou Creek!? But stumbling upon the Nakanoshima Museum of Art's Utagawa Kuniyoshi ukiyo-e exhibition was such a delightful surprise! (It ends on 2/24) 🌸🍃 Most of the visitors were Japanese, and after purchasing tickets, everyone was very quiet . Despite the large crowd, the atmosphere was orderly. I followed an elderly lady (who seemed to be a retiree) and moved from the first piece of the exhibition to the next. 🌇🌿 The exhibition was extensive, with a total of seven sections covering themes like war, actors, beauties, fantasy, and pets. By the time I finished viewing everything, my legs were a bit sore. 🌸🍃 There was even a section on the heroes of Water Margin, which felt both familiar and strange! Oh, and photography 📷 was not allowed inside, but there were a few pieces where we could take turns to snap photos. I followed the people in front of me and got my shots! 🌇🌿After the exhibition, you can visit the surrounding shops. They sell a catalog of all the exhibited pieces! It was around 100-200, and it was quite thick. Considering I didn't have a bag, I decided not to buy it. The Nakanoshima Museum of Art itself is also very impressive. 🌇🌿Outside, there's a giant cat sculpture, and inside, there's a massive punk installation! It's very visually striking! 🌟 #Osaka #NakanoshimaMuseum #ArtExhibition 🎨✨
