Nami Nori π½ New York SoHo Creative Hand Roll Sushi Bar π
ππΈA Japanese restaurant near SoHo in New York that I think is pretty creative. The menu is simple, and usually, a person orders five hand rolls at a time. Besides the basic set or the vegan set that the restaurant prepares for you, the other option is to choose five from a variety of flavors in the "Create Your Own" set. My friend and I both chose to pick our own five. π’π x.o. Scallop, Tobiko, Lemon $7 Avocado toast, beets, crispy carrot $8 Everything smoked salmon, tomato $8 ππΈ California $6 Toro, scallion $12 California $6 Spicy Crab Dynamite $8 Lobster tempura, yuzu aioli, frisΓ©e $10 Uni MP (market price, which was $24 today) x.o. Scallop, Tobiko, Lemon $7 Choosing your own flavors is relatively expensive, as it's the sum of the prices of all the selected flavors on the menu. π’π Compared to the restaurant's Signature Set for $28 and the Vegan Set for $28, it's much pricier. ππΈAfter trying them all, my favorite was the Lobster tempura with yuzu aioli and frisΓ©e. As for the Uni, I wouldn't recommend it, as it was quite ordinary β just sea urchin on rice. At $24, it's too expensive for what it is. #NewYork ππΈ
