Napa Food Guide š· Beyond Wineries, There's Amazing Food!
Finally made it to Napa for the wine tasting Iāve been dreaming of! A winery guide is coming soon, but firstāhereās my restaurant roundup š½ļø. Napaās food scene totally surprised me: š«š· They say āthe best French food isnāt in Franceāitās in Napaā š„¬ Thanks to Californiaās climate, many ingredients are farm-fresh and local š· With its wine country advantage, the wine lists are incredible š“ The natural scenery makes every meal visually stunning From Michelin stars to cozy French bistros and bakeriesāNapa has it all! š“ La Toque ā This one-Michelin-star restaurant outperforms many others. Their tasting menu was impressiveāevery dish was delicious, and three mains were truly mind-blowing. The skate wing with brown butter was aromatic and uniquely textured, perfectly paired with champagne grapes š. The black truffle ravioli was generously topped, and the lamb chops were juicy and tender. Service was impeccableāutensils changed with each course, crumbs cleared promptly. Since it was my boyfriendās birthday, almost every server wished him happy birthdayāhe was almost embarrassed! š š“ Auberge du Soleil The terrace offers breathtaking valley views š. Their farm-to-concept menu highlights local partnershipsāeven the table decor included a mini herb garden! The scallops were plump and fresh, the beef short rib was fall-apart tender, and the summer corn side was sweet and juicy. Dessert was a highlight: fresh peaches, peach sorbet, pistachio cake, panna cotta, and nut caramel crunchāall drizzled with peach sauce. One of the best fine-dining desserts Iāve had in a long time! š š“ Bouchon Bistro Textbook French bistroāambiance, food, everything! Even the wine glasses were Riedelāthe clink was so elegant š„. The complimentary bread came from their bakeryāwarm, endless baguettes served with salted butter and pistachios. Salmon tartare was beautifully plated, the lamb shank was tender, and the ratatouille was just like the movie! The musselsā sauce was authentic, and it came with a huge portion of fries. Too full for dessert, but the crĆØme brĆ»lĆ©e at the next table had me tempted š. š“ RH Yountville The restaurant from that luxury furniture storeāmany come for the crystal chandelier photos, and Iām no exception! šø The food was better than expected: Burrata was creamy, served with balsamic-marinated peppersāso good I want to recreate it! š“ Bouchon Bakery Even at 1 PM, there was a lineābut it moved fast! š„ The chocolate croissant is still waiting to be tasted, and I grabbed a box of macarons as a gift for a friend. #AmericanLife #California #CaliforniaLiving #NapaWineries #MichelinRestaurant #DateNight #HiddenGemEateries
