Napa Valley|You Have to Visit Napa in the Fall
🍁Just got back from a perfect autumn day trip to Napa Valley—starting from San Francisco, hopping through a castle winery, exploring a quiet town, and ending with a cozy overnight stay. Late November was the ideal time: crisp air, golden vines, and fewer crowds. Here’s my relaxed recap! Scenery: 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Winery Experience: 🌟🌟🌟 Town Vibe: 🌟🌟🌟 Dinner: 🌟🌟🌟🌟 🏰 Castello di Amorosa: A Tuscan-Style Dream All taken at the winery entrance. We chose the classic Castello di Amorosa and booked the basic self-guided tour with 5 wine tastings ($65 per person). While you select a timed entry slot during online booking, they didn’t strictly check our arrival time. The tasting menu is straightforward—great for beginners like me! 🍷 If you’re new to wine, don’t hesitate to ask for recommendations. This package is definitely tailored for casual visitors. Wine connoisseurs might want to explore more specialized tastings. 🛍️ Oxbow Public Market: Local & Laid-Back This indoor market is a short drive from the winery. The nearby downtown area has a few main streets with cute shops, bookstores, and more tasting rooms. Oxbow feels like a hybrid farmers' market + artisan gift hall—full of fresh produce 🥕, local treats, and friendly locals. The town itself isn’t wildly exciting, but that’s the charm. It’s the perfect place to wander with no agenda, sipping coffee and soaking in the fall colors. ☕ Shout-out to Ritual Coffee Roasters for a solid brew! 🍂 TORC: A Cozy Culinary Highlight P10–P13 → TORC was the surprise of the trip! As evening fell, a light rain started, and the red leaves outside glowed against the restaurant’s mint-green facade. It felt like stepping into a fairytale. Must-tries: Deviled Eggs, Side of Mushrooms, and a delicious risotto (forgot the name—but trust me!). Their red wine was smooth and elegant. Lots of couples celebrating anniversaries—romantic vibe alert! 💕 We opted for a lighter dinner with one entrée to share, plus appetizers and wine. Final cost: ~$65 per person. 💡 Tips for Your Trip: 🚗 Drive from SF is easy—scenic and under 2 hours. 🍷 Book tastings in advance, especially in fall. 🧥 Layer up—mornings are cool, evenings get chilly. 📸 Don’t miss the vineyard views along Highway 29. Napa in autumn isn’t just about wine—it’s about slow moments, golden light, and that crisp seasonal air. Already dreaming of my next visit! #US #CA #Napa
