NARO NYC Restaurant Week Review (1)๐ฝ๏ธ๐
NARO is a modern Korean restaurant nestled in Rockefeller Center, New York ๐, crafted by the powerhouse chef duo Junghyun and Ellia Park (the brilliant minds behind Atomix and Atoboy). The ambiance radiates refined elegance, blending traditional Korean inspirations with innovative culinary techniques โจ. We decided to try it during Restaurant Week, and the overall experience was truly worth sharing! ๐ญ Our party of three ordered different dishesโalmost working our way through the entire menuโand hereโs our little summary ๐๐: ๐ฅ Appetizers Fried Eggplant (with ginger sauce + smoked tofu) I really enjoyed this one! The eggplant was crispy outside and tender inside ๐ซ, with the ginger sauce adding a lovely kick. The tofu was just a tad dry, though. Naro Soy-Marinated Salmon The salmon was generously sliced ๐, and the marinade was pleasant, but the natural freshness of the fish felt a bit overshadowed. King Crab (with jellyfish salad & pine nut sauce) We all loved this dish! The jellyfish was delightfully crunchy, and the sauce was light and refreshingโa beautifully layered combination ๐ฟ. #NYC #RestaurantWeek #ModernKorean #NARO ๐๐ด
