Nashville's Open-Air History Corridor!

📍Tennessee Map Plaza Plaza is located on the downhill side of the State Capitol, serving as an educational open space in downtown Nashville. 📷We walked down the tree-lined path in front of the Capitol and saw from a distance this massive state map intricately carved into granite. 🌴Every county boundary, major river, and city on the map was clearly marked, and many visitors were enthusiastically locating familiar cities on the map. ✅Standing at the elevated part of the map and looking back toward the Capitol, the classical Greek-style dome appeared particularly magnificent against the blue sky. 🌴The plaza is surrounded by benches and informational signs that detail the geographical history of Tennessee. 📷Although it’s not as bustling as Broadway, it’s an excellent place to experience Nashville’s history and culture. #NashvilleAttractions #TennesseeMapPlaza #StateCapitol
