Nashville's Top-tier Japanese Cuisine|Wagyu, Foie Gras & Yakitori
Finally discovered an absolute gem of a Japanese restaurant in Nashville — and it’s super close to campus! I’ve already been three times and I’m still craving more 🥹❤️ 🍴 Virago ✨ Must-Try Dishes: Rock Shrimp ($16) Their signature dish! Crispy fried shrimp tossed in a creamy, mayo-like sauce — uniquely delicious and totally addictive 😭 Kogi Yaki ($24) Grilled Wagyu skewers with savory glaze — incredibly tender and flavorful. Comes with 4 skewers. Highly recommend! Yuzu Chicken ($17) Juicy grilled chicken skewers (3 per order) with a hint of yuzu, served with pineapple for a sweet-tangy kick 🍍 Crispy Rice + Spicy Tuna ($16) So unique! Crispy rice cakes topped with spicy tuna and a touch of watermelon sugar — sweet, spicy, and a must-try! Truffle + Caviar Salmon ($24) Seared salmon topped with black truffle and caviar — rich and luxurious 🍣 A5 Wagyu + Foie Gras ($39) Grilled A5 Wagyu with the option to add foie gras. A bit pricey but worth the splurge! Unagi Foie Gras ($16) Eel sushi topped with a small piece of foie gras — great value and delicious! Szechuan Cauliflower ($14) A fun fusion dish: roasted cauliflower with Kung Pao sauce — surprisingly amazing and creative 🌶️ Thai Tea Brûlée Thai tea-flavored crème brûlée topped with whipped cream and ice cream, plus a crispy caramel layer. A bit too sweet for me, but worth trying if you love desserts! 🍹 Cocktails Tried a non-alcoholic pineapple drink 🍍, but they’re known for their Wasabi Martini 🍸 — sounds intriguing! 💵 Price: Around $50 per person (depending on what you order) Highly recommend giving Virago a visit! It’s a culinary experience you won’t forget ❣️🤍💛 #WhatToEatToday #JapaneseFood #FoodExplore #DailyFoodie #Yakitori #Nashville
