🍙 Nashville Japanese Food Guide 🍣
Today I’m sharing my experience at two Japanese restaurants in Nashville: Kosho by Tabu and Virago! ➡️ Kosho by Tabu 🔹 The Shabu Bar (Sukiyaki Hot Pot) There’s nothing like a warm hot pot after a long day of travel! 🍲✨ The broth was comforting, and it came with napa cabbage, broccoli, carrots, tofu, and more. We ordered the beef roll — the meat was tender and sliced fresh by the chefs. The dipping sauces (sesame and yuzu soy) were both delicious. Cozy, steamy, and full of happiness — a must-try! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 🔹 Chicken Liver Pâté Creamy chicken liver spread served with crispy baguette slices — rich and satisfying! 🥖 🔹 Salmon Crudo Fresh salmon edged with chili powder 🐟🌶️, topped with tomato and avocado sauce — light and flavorful. 🔹 Yakitori (Skewers) Tried the chicken teriyaki and shrimp skewers — the chicken was juicy and well-seasoned. Definitely recommend the chicken! 🍢 ➡️ Virago 🔹 Sushi Omakase Six unique pieces of sushi — perfect for those who want to try a bit of everything! 🍣 My ranking: Lobster 🦞 A5 Wagyu 🥩 Truffle & Caviar Salmon ✨ 🔹 Small Plates Kung Pao Brussels Sprouts: A fun twist with a slight spice 🌶️ Rock Shrimp: Crispy and saucy — a popular choice 🍤 Miso Soup: Pretty standard, but a tad salty 🥣 Both spots offered great vibes and unique dishes — definitely worth visiting if you’re exploring Nashville’s food scene! 💰 Average spending: $40-60 per person #Nashville#JapaneseCuisine #FoodDiary #NashvilleEats #TravelEats
