Nashville Super Chill 2-Day Trip (Part 1) ππΆ
I was so tired of New York that I randomly booked a flight to Nashville for a quick getaway! βοΈ Took off from NYC at 9:30 AM and arrived around 11:00 AM after a smooth 2.5-hour flight. Headed straight from the airport to Biscuit Love π§ β the Hillsboro Village location had no wait! Ordered: The Princess π: Spicy fried chicken (thigh meat, so tender!) + biscuit + a fried egg π³. The sauce was amazing, and the biscuit was perfectly crispy. East Nasty: Non-spicy fried chicken version β also delicious! Bonuts π©: Like donuts topped with lemon cream cheese π and blueberry jam π«. Sweet, tangy, and yummyβ¦ but five pieces were a bit too much for two people (got slightly rich after a few). Fruit Tea πΉ: Refreshing and free refills! After brunch, checked into Kimpton Aertson Hotel π¨ β loved the design! Our room had a balcony and came with a free bottle of wine π· and local cookies πͺ. Next, we visited Ole Smoky Distillery "6th & Peabody" π»: Tasting menu: $10/$13 per person β includes 1 beer + 7 shots! Fun and unique experience β wish we had more time to stay! Then, slightly buzzed, we explored the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum πΏ β a whole new way to enjoy exhibits, lol! Dinner at Martin's Bar-B-Que Joint π₯©π: Big Brother Sampler: Short rib (so good!) + brisket + 2 sides. The short rib was a highlight; brisket was just okay. Only ~$30 per person β New Yorkers cried tears of joy ππΈ. After dinner, we walked 5 mins to Broadway β live music everywhere! π΅ Every bar was packed, everyone was happy, dancing, and soaking in the vibes. Back at the hotel, we ordered cocktails πΈ to our room and ended the night perfectly. π€ #Nashville #NashvilleTravel #FoodieDiary #BrunchGoals #FriedChicken #LiveMusic #TravelUSA #WeekendVibes πΈπβ¨
