Nashville Zoo Welcomes Baby Aardwolves!

📍 Nashville Zoo at Grassmere ✅The Nashville Zoo recently named two baby aardwolves, and they have now officially become the zoo's latest animal stars. Though both are aardwolves, each has distinct physical features and personality traits. 📷The slightly larger one is named Shenzi. Though bigger in size, Shenzi is actually lighter in weight and is usually active and playful, often seen running around the exhibit. 👉The smaller one, Ed, is most easily recognized by the distinctive V-shaped marking between its eyes, resembling a natural little crown. Zookeepers say Ed is more calm and often rests quietly on a log, basking in the sun. 🎨Aardwolves are not actually wolves—they belong to the anteater family and primarily eat termites. The zoo has specially designed their habitat to mimic the African savanna, with soft sandy soil for digging. #NashvilleZoo #Aardwolf #AnimalEducation #WildlifeConservation
