This special exhibition is the first major retrospective of Hilma af Klint (1862-1944) in Asia. 🍃🌸She was a pioneering abstract painter and an outstanding artist from Sweden, who has recently been re-evaluated as a trailblazer in abstract art, ahead of her contemporaries. 🎨✨ Her legacy of over 1,000 works remained largely unknown for a long time. Since the 1980s, they have finally been exhibited in several shows. 🍃🌸 In the 21st century, her work has gained global recognition. In 2018, the retrospective at the Guggenheim Museum in New York attracted 600,000 visitors, setting a record for the highest attendance in the museum's history. #Tokyo 🌇🌟
