National Museum of the American Indian in New York
I didn't have much knowledge of Native American culture and hadn't planned to visit this place (I didn't even know it existed). ๐๐ธ But it was just a two-minute walk from the hotel, and while waiting for someone, I noticed the striking building behind me, so I decided to take a look. ๐ฟ๐The National Museum of the American Indian is perfectly located in Wall Street, close to Battery Park and not far from the ferry terminal for the Statue of Liberty. The collection mainly consists of Native American crafts and historical artifacts. ๐๐ธThe exhibition area is not large, and it might be helpful to learn about the local culture before visiting. I didn't really get into it because I lacked prior knowledge. ๐ฟ๐ The building itself used to be the New York Customs House, and its dome and marble hall are quite unique. ๐๐ธIf you have ample time and are interested in culture, you can take your time exploring. ๐ฟ๐Otherwise, if you really have nowhere else to go, you can skip this place. Later, my friend insisted on taking me to Flushing to broaden my horizons. It was really interesting. ๐๐ธ Chinese is spoken everywhere, and it felt like I was back in my happy hometown. #NewYork
