Neighborly Italian Eats at Barbuto ๐
Simple Winter Delights That Hit the Spot ๐ Today, I want to write about our favorite Italian haunt, Barbuto. Itโs the perfect spot for a leisurely stroll along the river, a visit to the Whitney, and then a cozy lunch at Barbuto. Itโs super satisfying with its spacious environment and river views. The service is warm and welcoming, and the value for money is great! ๐ Hereโs a quick review of the dishes: polloApollo Al Forno: The roast chicken is tender and juicy, truly exceptional among roast chickens. ๐ Pasta: Our favorite is the carbonara. While some prefer olio e piu for its authenticity, it can be a bit noisy and crowded. Both places serve generous portions though! ๐ Seafood Pasta: Also a hit, with a massive portion size. ๐ฆ Focaccia: Highly recommendedโdelicious! ๐ฅช Pizza: Skip it. Other tables ordered different flavors, but the dough seemed a bit dense and underwhelming. ๐ Kale Salad: Surprisingly good! Even my kale-averse friend enjoyed it. ๐ฅฌ Tiramisu: Decent, but not always available. The pistachio cake is just okay. ๐ฐ Affogato: The coffee could use less espresso; the ratio needs some tweaking. โ ๐ 113 Horatio St., New York #FoodieDiaries #NewYorkEats ๐๐
