Nepal Hiking - Pokhara
【Accommodation】: 🩵Since I was staying in the mountains for the hike, I booked three nights in Pokhara in advance. Pokhara isn't a large place, and paragliding pickups are mostly in the Lakeside area. Following the principle of proximity, I chose a hotel in this area with a moderate environment, including breakfast. 🌈 It's recommended to book for one night and then extend your stay at the front desk, which is at least 40-50 cheaper than booking through platforms (this applies to 80% of hotels, and the same operation applies in Kathmandu). There are some luxury hotels on the mountain with great views of "Fishtail Peak" if you have the time! 【Food】: Being alone, and with breakfast included at the hotel, I didn't indulge in big meals. However, I highly recommend trying Western cuisine in Pokhara; it's cost-effective and tastes really good. 🍽️Fresh Elements Restaurant has a great environment and value for money, and they accept card payments. Due to local customs against beef, there are no beef dishes, but I highly recommend the "Rosemary Roasted Chicken" and "Chicken Pasta". 🌈The internet-famous "Pineapple Milkshake" was just average, better for photos. This place is worth a visit, especially after coming down from the mountain when the marginal effect is too high! ☕Himalayan Java Coffee is easy to find with a great view of the mountains and lake. It offers good value for money and quality products. The brownies are a bit sweet but indeed delicious, and I highly recommend it for afternoon tea. 【Transportation】: ✨If you're active in the Lakeside area, it's suggested to walk, as most places are within 1-2 kilometers. There are many interesting small shops along the way, including paragliding and bungee jumping. 🚖You can compare prices by passing by the shops. If you're planning to hike and your equipment is not complete, you can also resupply here, as there are many outdoor shops available. #Pokhara#Nepal#Fresh Elements Restaurant#Himalayan Java Coffee#trip diary#travel guide#Pokhara travel#Nepal trip#Nepal food#food diary#local food
