Nepal Three-Day Trekking - Annapurna Poonhill

🧗‍♀️🏔️ Day 1: My first trekking(3-4 days)without a guide or porter. From Pokhara's Phewa Lake, I took a tuk-tuk to Baglung station and caught a magical local bus for a bumpy 2-hour ride to Nayapul. Due to road construction and dust, I decided to hire a car to the second station, Tirkedhunge, saving a day's journey. With an average of 7 hours and 15 kilometers of uphill and downhill trekking per day, carrying a 20-pound backpack, I reached the limits of my physical strength and willpower. I stayed overnight at Ghodepani guest house. 🏃🏻‍♀️🌄 Day 2: On the second day, I witnessed the snow-capped mountains and sunrise(the most classic viewpoint at Poonhill)and met many fellow trekkers, experiencing the adventure and freedom of solo travel as well as the warmth and joy of traveling with companions. Since I lingered at Ghodepani for sunrise and didn't depart until noon, it took me 4.5 hours to cover 20 kilometers of uphill and downhill trails to reach Tadapani. As it got dark, ✨I started climbing the final peak, lost without signboards, nearly stranded in the forest at night. I was mentally prepared to climb to the stone-built stupa for shelter and divine protection, or to use stones for self-defense. When I arrived at Tadapani, I collapsed at the entrance of the village... 🌄🐕 Day 3: The previous day's boldness and perseverance were rewarded with a splendid sunrise and the enthusiastic company of a local dog. I felt the power of circumambulating the mountains and the blessing of the snow-capped deities. With an exhausted body, I trekked down from Tadapani to Ghandruk and took a car back to the shores of Phewa Lake. 🌈Immersed in the snow-capped mountains and meadows of the southern Himalayas, retracing the hiking routes of the hippies of yesteryears, and banishing in the forests without mobile signals, I minimized my social desires and explored the dimensions of life with simple steps and experienced the empowerment of nature through physical limits. #AnnapurnaSnowMountains #NepalHiking#Annapurna Poonhill#Nepal#trip diary#travel guide#Nepal trip#Phewa Lake#Pokhara#trekking
