New Jersey | Korean Boss recommends crab sauce! Local shop!

As a food blogger obsessed with marinated crab šŸ¦€, I’ve tried quite a few marinated crab spots in NY and NJ! A Korean owner raved about this place—saying it’s the most authentic he’s ever had! As soon as I walked in and saw almost all Korean diners, I knew it was a winner!! Don’t let the map ratings fool you—it’s really tasty! Basically, every table orders these two things! 🌟 Marinated Crab Heads upā€¼ļø Order the premium one!! It’s air-freighted from Korea šŸ‡°šŸ‡·! The crab shells are super soft—you can literally suck the meat out! There’s so much crab roe too—mixing it with rice is pure happiness šŸ˜‹! The saltiness is mild, so you can really taste the natural sweetness of the crab meatļ½ž My Korean friend even said it tastes just like the ones in Korea! Never order the Blue crab! That’s from Maryland. Most places in NY and NJ use blue crab, and their shells are really hard—total hassle! 🌟 Sam bab (Lettuce Wraps) A must-order for every table! Wrap the meat in lettuce—it’s so fresh!! The lettuce is crisp and crunchy, even my friend who doesn’t like veggies ate a lot 🄬! There are five or six types of lettuce—even bok choy and crown daisy! It sounds surprising but tastes great! The raw greens are actually sweet! We chose spicy stir-fried pork—wrapping it with doenjang (soybean paste) is such a perfect match!! The side dishes are also plentiful: steamed egg, doenjang jjigae (soybean paste stew), and two bowls of fish roe rice! After the meal, you can go to D’avant bakery to grab a drinkļ½ž ā›³ļø Kaya Garden 1475 Bergen Blvd, Fort Lee, NJ 07024 Like šŸ’— Save āļø Follow šŸ™‹šŸ»ā€ā™€ļø Check my profile for more NYC eats!
