New Mexico: Santa Fe (Food & Accommodation Edition) 🏨🌮
A hotel nestled in flowers; lunch in an art gallery 🥣🍴 Choosing a hotel in Santa Fe was tricky—there are so many unique options! I initially considered a hot spring resort recommended by a friend, but it was too far from the attractions we planned to visit. Instead, we chose Inn on the Alameda, located in the historic district and within walking distance of major sights. After checking in, we were delighted! The location, facilities, service, ambiance, and breakfast all exceeded our expectations. 🌹 Enjoying breakfast while overlooking the blooming spring flowers through the restaurant window added an extra touch of joy. The complimentary breakfast was diverse and delicious, and the staff even provided takeaway boxes for guests—thoughtful and warm service! Rumor has it this breakfast is quite famous in Santa Fe. Canyon Road—the gallery street—was just three blocks from our hotel. Museums, art galleries, churches, city hall, the old town, and the central plaza were all within walking distance. From 10:00 to 17:30, we explored all the key attractions. During our three days in Santa Fe, we never moved the car—everything was accessible on foot. Pure bliss! 🚶♀️❤️ While strolling along the gallery street, we stumbled upon a hidden gem—a New American restaurant tucked deep in an alley. It was lunchtime, and without a reservation, we decided to give it a try. The host, hearing we were visitors from LA, warmly offered us a table. The local vibe was strong—we seemed to be the only tourists there! We ordered: 🥗 Organic Salad 🧅 Onion Rings 🍗 Fried Chicken Cutlet 🐟 Organic Scottish Salmon The food was finely prepared with fresh ingredients—unexpectedly delicious! The total came to $107, which felt reasonable. The salmon was especially noteworthy—highly recommend! Santa Fe is rich in artistic atmosphere. The brick-red architecture blends seamlessly with the local culture, making the ancient city feel like one grand gallery. You can wander leisurely or step into any restaurant for a memorable meal. Neither the hotel nor the restaurant disappointed us! 🏨 Hotel Address: 303 E Alameda St, Santa Fe, NM 87501 💰 Hotel Rate: $249/night (including tax for our king bed room) 🍽️ Restaurant Address: 635 Canyon Rd, Santa Fe, NM 87501 💰 Lunch Price: Around $40 per person #SantaFeHotels #SantaFeEats #SantaFe #USRoadTrip #ArtAndTravel #HistoricDistrict #WalkableCity #GalleryHopping #LocalFlavors #TravelInStyle #HiddenGems #LuxuryForLess #CulturalRetreat #FoodieFinds #SpringBlossoms
