New Omakase at New York's Dumbo! Get free refills if you're not full!
There’s a new omakase spot near the Brooklyn Bridge—and it’s a total gem! Here’s the best part: as long as they have leftover ingredients that day, you can get free refills—even on Hokkaido uni! 🦪 🌟 The Menu 🌟 It includes 5 appetizers + 10 pieces of sushi + 2 sakizuke (small dishes) + a hand roll + dessert! These were my absolute favorites of the day: 1️⃣ Sanma (Pacific Saury) with Uni Rice – The rice here is mixed with uni! It’s that wonderfully creamy, texture you crave, and it’s paired with sanma that’s crispy on the skin and tender inside. Total obsession! 2️⃣ Abalone – The abalone liver sauce it comes with is so creamy—rich and milky, it’s honestly addictive. So good! 3️⃣ Shima Aji – They stuffed scallions inside the striped jack —such a creative twist! It’s surprisingly delicious, fresh, and cuts through any fishy aftertaste perfectly. 4️⃣ Grilled Scallop – They don’t just torch it—they use an actual little stove to grill it! It’s hands down the tenderest, juiciest grilled scallop I’ve ever had in an omakase. 🌟 Flavors 🌟 The ratio of fish to vinegar rice is spot on—they’re generous with the fish and light on the rice, so even after 10 pieces, you don’t feel stuffed. The fish is mostly just lightly brushed with soy sauce, no heavy seasonings—and honestly, with how fresh the fish is, that’s all you need. Pure satisfaction! 🌟 Ambiance 🌟 The setting is stunning—perfect for a date! The entrance faces the pier, and the sunset views must be incredible. On a nice day, you could even take a stroll by the river after eating… went on a pouring rain day, so no sunset for me 😭 📍 Kiwami 141 Bridge Park Dr, Brooklyn, NY 11201 💰: $238 for 19 courses Like 💗 Save ⭐️ Follow 🙋🏻♀️ Check my profile for more NYC eats! #NewYork #NYC #NYCLife #NYCEats #NYCFood #NewYorkFoodGuide #NYCOmakase #BrooklynNY #BrooklynFood #NYCNewOmakase
