New Orleans NOLA | Brennan’s Dinner Experience 🍽️
Tried dinner at the legendary New Orleans restaurant Brennan’s. (Their brunch line was way too crazy, so we skipped it! 😅) Even though we didn’t get to try the classic Bananas Foster—created here back in 1950— the dinner still delivered so many lovely surprises! ✨ ◻️ Starter: Crab & Green Tomato Rémoulade Fresh, sweet crab meat with a tangy green tomato sauce—perfectly balanced! 🦀🍅 ◻️ Seafood Gumbo After trying four or five versions around town, this one was my favorite! Rich broth, but not overly salty—just right. 🥣 ◻️ Main: Satsuma Lacquered Duck The duck skin had a caramelized citrus glaze, and the sauce kept it from feeling too heavy. 🦆🍊 ◻️ Blackened Redfish A true Cajun classic—crispy skin, tender fish. 🐟🔥 The biggest surprise was the dessert: Sweet Potato Crème Brûlée The caramelized top with pecans was delicious… and not too sweet! A win for sensitive taste buds. 🍠💖 The restaurant has an elegant, old-school vibe—great for dates or catching up with friends! 🥂 📍 Brennan’s, 417 Royal St, New Orleans Have you been to a classic restaurant that surprised you?
