New Spot in San Francisco ๐ฅ Delicious Clay Pot Chicken ๐
Recently came across this new restaurant online โ their steaming clay pot chicken looked so tempting that I decided to check it out right away to see how it compares to regular roast chicken. The place is called Ah Maโs Kitchen. At first I thought it might lean toward Taiwanese cuisine (since Taiwan is famous for barrel-roasted and clay pot chicken), but the menu turned out to be more Hong Kongโinspired ๐๐. They have pineapple chicken burgers, wonton soup, and more. Speaking of Taiwanese spots, I recently found a really good one โ Iโll share about it in a few days ๐. ๐ Clay Pot Chicken Served piping hot in foil, it looks like a whole chicken but is actually half โ which makes sense given the price and portion. The owner comes over wearing gloves to help cut it up right at your table. The high-heat roasting keeps it super tender โ both the leg and breast are flavorful and juicy. It feels like a healthier option, too! The juices at the bottom are delicious โ great to take home for cooking or mixing with rice ๐๐ฉโ๐ณ. Of course, you can also put on gloves and dig in yourself! ๐ Chicken Burger A crispy fried chicken patty inside a soft pineapple bun โ instantly brought back memories of Hong Kong . ๐ฒ Wonton Soup & Salted Egg Shrimp Both were tasty and satisfying โ solid choices if youโre craving some classic Cantonese flavors . ๐ง Giant Bubble Tea The โgiant pearlsโ are actually herbal jelly โ super eye-catching and fun to try! Highly recommend . ๐ Ah Maโs Kitchen #BayAreaFood #BubbleTea #SanFranciscoEats #ClayPotChicken #Foodie #HongKongStyle #AsianFlavors #NewInSF #MustTry #ComfortFood #TeaTime #BayAreaBites ๐
