New Spot in San Francisco π₯ Delicious Clay Pot Chicken π
Recently came across this new restaurant online β their steaming clay pot chicken looked so tempting that I decided to check it out right away to see how it compares to regular roast chicken. The place is called Ah Maβs Kitchen. At first I thought it might lean toward Taiwanese cuisine (since Taiwan is famous for barrel-roasted and clay pot chicken), but the menu turned out to be more Hong Kongβinspired ππ. They have pineapple chicken burgers, wonton soup, and more. Speaking of Taiwanese spots, I recently found a really good one β Iβll share about it in a few days π. π Clay Pot Chicken Served piping hot in foil, it looks like a whole chicken but is actually half β which makes sense given the price and portion. The owner comes over wearing gloves to help cut it up right at your table. The high-heat roasting keeps it super tender β both the leg and breast are flavorful and juicy. It feels like a healthier option, too! The juices at the bottom are delicious β great to take home for cooking or mixing with rice ππ©βπ³. Of course, you can also put on gloves and dig in yourself! π Chicken Burger A crispy fried chicken patty inside a soft pineapple bun β instantly brought back memories of Hong Kong . π² Wonton Soup & Salted Egg Shrimp Both were tasty and satisfying β solid choices if youβre craving some classic Cantonese flavors . π§ Giant Bubble Tea The βgiant pearlsβ are actually herbal jelly β super eye-catching and fun to try! Highly recommend . π Ah Maβs Kitchen #BayAreaFood #BubbleTea #SanFranciscoEats #ClayPotChicken #Foodie #HongKongStyle #AsianFlavors #NewInSF #MustTry #ComfortFood #TeaTime #BayAreaBites π
